auction sniper or snipe programs/websites

hey all,

posted this on another part of the forum but thought this would be better to get a response. new to this forum but have a serious question. if i use a web snipe program such as auctionsniper.com, and i need to login everytime i want to use it, does ebay track the IP address i loginto on that site? thanks for anyones help and keep up the great work!

I use it once in a while, I haven't had any problems, I would assume the IP of the auctionsniper gets logged? and not your IP but im not sure

No, you are fine with auctionsniper. I used them for over a year. I did provide my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay info to them as well, though. I set up to pay my sniping bills with my real credit card & name, and they did not seem to mind the discrepancies.

ive never used any of these programs when ive bought on ebay, i usually have never a problem getting in on the last second.

I used to snipe with dial up, before I learned about sniping programs....lol, what a exciting time. Now I have broadband and I still use the sniping services; they're quite cheap for the convenience.

logs into ebay for you and doesnt share your info with ebay
so its safe to use

I have a buyers account I set up at the library with a post office box buy with esnipe
pay with a throwaway paypal account and never log into ebay go to the post office once a week and pick up my items

its been 6 months and still going irony is I've been buying on ebay and selling the stuff on amazon...lol

2emptypockets: I also buy on eBay and sell on Amazon.....only certain items get sold on eBay, like laptops.....you need to be God to sell those on Amazon.

2exclusiive: I would put in my snipe about 20 seconds before auction end, and it would actually come around 10 seconds.
