Can eBay link me through this?

My details are suspended from eB ay but PP is still up and running.

I was thinking of closing my current PPl account and opening another one on my name but with different spelling - using my middle name and all other info spelled differently so I would not be linked to my old accounts.

Now, my question is - can eB a y link me through CC and Bank and details I give PP? I already gave my CC number to ebay so that card is blacklisted - but good for using PP.

Why bother closing? As for reusing ANYTHING between eb and pp....yes you can be linked.

Well, basic logic goes like this:

I am using my CC number on PP - I am not blocked on PP, nothing wrong here.

eb ay cannot see the CC number i put on PP... even though there is a very tight connection between them they cannot see the entire number.

Although I should probably use another CC just in case... but bank account details will have to be the same, I assume I will add this later on after my eb ay account is established. I do not believe this would get me linked.

Zero logic there. You do realize these checks are not done manually and they wont "see" it, right? All that info is stored on what the kids these days call a "computer"... They will link instantly

If you really THOUGHT hard about this for a moment or two, you'd realize that.....EB did infact LINK you for that previous CC linked to your PP A/C connected to the EB A/C (& block your EB connected CC on & from THAT associated PP A/C) & hence that PP A/C is no longer good for that EB A/C even though the PP A/C is still 'up & running' ???

There is some serious fuzzy thinking going on here.
EB will block this CC associated with this 'slightly altered' PP A/C connected to that EB A/C but leave the associated PP A/C unblocked as is the situation you currently have, no (???).

I can see where you are trying to go with your line of thinking.HOWEVER, I don't agree with your rationale for thinking that apparently EB is unable to cross check the CC numbers on the attached PP A/C & EB A/C on the terms & basis you've outlined.

In baloch spirit of testing the limits & boundaries, do what you propose to do & report back on this in due course.
