Changing company name

Do eBay and Paypal track company name changes? ie if i've got an old paypal banned account and changed company name, would they link? Obviously company number is same, so guess they probably would, but I noticed they seem to be fairly manual on that in UK ie requesting scanned upload of certificate of incorporation, so may be worth a try?

They will connect you from what you've said.

Why were you banned/limited if that is the case....

No. Old info is retained.

Learn before it is TOO LATE to not use anything old associated with suspended accounts.

These are the basic steps of starting over.

Much as it annoys, you need new info unrelated to an old you.

They keep records forever and cross check information.

It will be caught in time.

If you are going new everything you do has to be new, including your name and all other info.

In UK Under the data protection act they are not allowed to hold personal data after it is needed. I suspect you may be able to write to them requesting that deletion. If you subsequently re-appear and they link you, then they would clearly have breached UK DP laws in not deleting everything! I will investigate this possibility further...

Work with the premise that eb and pp keep info forever and work accordingly.
