I just purchased a new PayPal account...Attached is a screenshot
With this account I will be invoicing people then buying items off of eBay.
When I try to send an invoice I get this message:
"In order to Request Money, you must first confirm your email address.
For your security, PayPal asks that you confirm your email address.
Step 1. Go to your emailWe sent an email to: xxxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com. etc etc etc"
Very clear this account is not ready to use to my needs...I have already sent an email to the seller just waiting to hear back.
My questions are:
1.Anything I can do in the mean time or if i don't hear back?ie change the email address on file etc?
2.What should I look for in the future when buying an account?
I did state above what I need it for and needless to say I can't have it get limited or anything like that.
Thanks guys!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Why not just activate the account yourself? Just click the "request new confirmation number" at the bottom of that confirm email page to send it to the registered email.

Another option for you if you are uncomfortable changing the E-Mail address in your Paypal Profile is to get in touch with whomever sold you the account and see if you can get the login information for the Email address he used to create your account, your seller should have created an E-mail account solely for use with your paypal account, either will get the job done

I'm reading it as doing all your activity off ebay & thinking invoices will save you grief?
Exactly what are your plans?
Did not buy it here no.
Off of eBay odd enough.
And not really I just need a PayPal account that has no limits/21 day hold.
So,I can invoice people then do a PayPal to Paxum exchange.
NO ONE sells Paypal accounts, WITHOUT 21 day holds,,,EVERYONE better get used to the idea of a 21 day hold because going foward the account with the 21 Day hold on it is going to be NORMAL, and the one without the hold is going to be the EXCEPTION,,,,the same with Amazon and its "Rolling" Reserve

Before 90 days after your first sale, it is indeed eBay that the holds are down to. Any eBay holds after that period are down to PayPal putting account-wide (irrespective of transaction source) holds on the account.
