Tethering with MacBook Pro and iPhone?

Hi! I'm in Canada looking to tether my iPhone 4 with my MacBook Pro to handle my IP addresses for Stealth. I don't remember seeing much info on tethering in the stealth guide so hopefully I can find some info & help on here.

Will I get a new IP address every time? I'm with Rogers. Or is there a trick to getting a new one?

I think that you get a new ip every time. Why don't you test and try?

go to settings and put airplane mode on, then off. It will change every time you do that.

Do this, this is what I do and it works every time.

I've been tethering for years, mashka22 is correct. It will give you a new ip address everytime but in the same location so eventually you "may" run across that ip again. Chances are slim but still possible.

Best to keep a log, but good luck!

Also I've noticed it gives me an ip address not directly in my city say if I lived in Buffalo, NY it would give me a Manhattan, NY IP
