Real PITA at first but if you work around all those useless apps you can find an easy way to get back to the main desktop with the apps in your face.
And, do not sign in with a Microsoft user account either, use local, leave password blank and your off and ready to roll.

Can you use different browsers under the same user account to save disk space? Also do all new user accounts need administrator access or does it matter?

I use one main administrator account with nothing eb or pp on it.
The rest I do not. If a hacker would happen to get into your computer they would not be able to access the non admin user accounts I believe.
Techies here can help with this.
Browsers as in Firefox?
Get rid of IE and use Firefox on all user accounts.

Get rid of IE and use Firefox on all user accounts. | Haha if you run a virus on your any user they have root access to your comp, all saved passwords stored files easily accessable even if accounts are password protected. See google for "RATs"

If someome hacks your admin account, he can access all lower privilege accounts. It does not buy you much.
If you are afraid to get password stolen, this tool is great: KeePass (it is free)
