Have you tried just changing a number or two of your Mac address to force an IP change?

I'm thinking about getting a Mac book, I here it's the cool thing to do these days.

They are. Their notebooks are better than any PC counterpart, you just can't beat the looks.

I don't really care about the looks; I want a beast that can do whatever I need it to do! I'm looking for a full keyboard with a 19 inch screen, extreme processor, top graphics card with at least 3 gigs of ram and 200 GB of space. I want to take my desktop with me when I leave home. The last POS laptop I had was a Sony Vaio 14 inch 2lbl laptop. It was tiny and weak. I couldn't load too much on it or it would slow to a crawl. I'm talking about just Opera, Dreamweiver and Photoshop open and it would die. I basically gave that thing away and now I'm looking for a replacement.
