IP on eBay is different from actual IP I am using
HI,
I use different fixed IP's for every account.
I have recently noticed that when I request "CHANGE EMAIL ADDRESS" in eBay. I get that email from eBay with your IP that's logged.
Hower this email has a completely different IP from the one that is shown on ipburger (different from the one I am actually using).
The IP in this email has also got a different range etc.
These IP's are not released by my ISP.
When I track these IP'S they are located in Singapore, Spain etc.
Everytime I request the "CHANGE EMAIL ADDRESS" function I get a NEW different IP that's logged by eBay. So when I request it 3 times within 20 seconds, I get 3 times a different IP. However I am still using the same IP provided by my ISP. Every logged IP has also got a different location through Trace.
If these IP's are really logged by eBay this will not be good for my account.
Might this be an error by eBay?
Does anybody also notice this different IP's when they request "CHANGE EMAIL ADDRESS"?
