Question Linking accounts based on logging times?

Hi there. I've searched the forums, did not stumble on the resolution of my question so here it is.

Has anyone experienced ban/linking/limiting, because of a logging pattern. Does ebay track and analyze such information at all, and if yes what are the requirements to be safe. If you think about it even if you try to variate your account usage times the pattern can happen on monthly or even yearly basis.

Regards

No they don't. I don't log out though and keep all my cookies the same since the day I created the account.

I think you should consider eBay and PayPal see your browser, timezone, IP, screen resolution. Login times are not that good info to link you when all your accounts use the same web browser and screen resolution..Food for thought.

I use the word 'log in' also in the meaning of starting to use an account after some hours of inactivity.
I would imagine 10 accounts logging frequently one after another no matter the order can be more solid proof to linkage than the browser and resolution used?

Possibly a very remote link but I do this on a constant basis - cycle and login - no link problems to date - knock on wood. I think you should worry more about HOW to operate stealth rather than times and such

I would say no, considering how many ebay users there are and people constantly logging in and out, i cant see how they could.

Maybe if they had other reasons to be suspicious of various accounts being used by one human then perhaps they could look for a logging pattern.

Not fact, just my opinion.

I would worry more about your listing pattern and auction listings. Be wise about it.
