Tracking via uploading images

As im getting ready for stealth and checking everything over so I cant be tracked I thought about uploading images... If I use the same system for multiple accounts can they track me when I upload images on different windows user accounts?

All images will be coming from the same system and I guess ebays system has to comunicate with my machine...

Any thoughts?

Are you saying that you are using a third party listing company?

If so, which one are you using?

Well im guessing its not a good idea to use turbo lister... Which ive always used in the past with my genuine account.

So when I first start stealth and im acting like a "new user" ill just be using the ebay site, like a new user would. Im then thinking of subscribing to Auctiva as ive heard it has many advantages.

So in a nutshell... Ill be using the ebay site and auctiva.

Uploading images on different window user accounts wont be tracked but if you are using the same images - that CAN cause a link.

Auctiva is a nice service - dont use TurboLister, eBay app...ugh

I know Turbo Lister... Its like ebay itself, constant changes and shoddy!

Wish id have looked at Auctiva years ago!

Dont forget to stamp or trademark your images

GTB 04-27-2013 07:31 PM

use a program called exifcleaner to clear exif data from the pictures

and take a different set of pictures for each stealth account

and watermark them too, or peeps will steal them

accounts need a certain amount of feedback to list with auctiva.

Read GTB's post too.

Make sure you use a program to strip out 'info'. Of course, you new listings will also be done so differently you should have no link to old photos. I can not stress the importance of watermaking your OWN property. (Avoid stock photos too).
Good Luck

Why avoid stock photos GB?

Certainly on a new account acting as a newbie stock photos are not good... But when I was selling on my old account I often used a stock photo for the gallery image and then a photo of the actual stock as a second image within the listing.

I only ever did this with brand new items of course which come in sealed boxes... Theres nothing worse than a stock image in the listing and then a bashed up box with missing bits turns up in the post :mad2:

GTB good point with the photo information and cleaning the images... I remember using a program for my SLR camera which revealed theres quite a lot of information within an image that I would have never expected to be included! So yes, clean those pictures once they are off your camera!

Because 1. everyone who is lazy with listing will use those stock photos and 2. if they get suspended (as many do), then you use the SAME photo...you MAY get inherently linked up...which is not good...
