new mobile number and new iPhone
 

Hi, I have a pay and go sim linked to my stealth account and have just purchased a used I phone.

is it safe to use the iPhone with the eBay app and as nothing else, I would be connecting to 3g only.

The phone has never been used on any of my other accounts or any of my old accounts.

But my iTunes I'd is in my real name.

Is this safe? Thanks

Essentially, the threads say to not use the EB or PP apps.

I would not risk it.

What if the last user had an ebay account and used that on ebay?

I would not use the ebay appl on any phone.

Ok thanks I think I will ininstall the app then and not use it. I just thought it would be safe as is a new number etc.

Its not so much the number that matters in this case as the history of the phone. As GB said for all you know someone who had it before you could have been banned.

Ok so what about if I purchased a brand new iPhone and used it with the pay and go sim would this be safe?

We suggest to NEVER use the appl.

Go read the threads you were given and see why.

Can eBay see the name of the apple id on the phone?
