Ipad use of emails for paypal & ebay

my apologies if this has already been posted, i did a search and could NOT find an exact match for this topic.

i usually use my ipad or gmail to read my emails from EB & PP since it can turn off image-gathering from the emails. to avoid them from linking you through email. my question is, if I read EB or PP emails on AOL email (which i sometimes find myself doing), does this track or link you? AOL email by default doesnt allow you to turn off the automatic image DLing on emails the way gmail

So you are asking in a round about way if you can read your emails via aol via the ipad?

Have you loaded ebay appl on the ipad?
Might need to read thro' the below threads to see general thoughts on iphones/ipads.
