| | | rio382 | 06-15-2013 03:04 AM | Brand New New Stealth Tactic? Hey how about this? User Agent Switcher
I run firefox and when Im making new stealths as we already know what ever browser we user its read on any web site you visit.
So the sites know automaticaly what browser you are using.
So when making stealths an added layer of fuzz for EB/PP is that I can mimic and send any version of any browser to them like Im on an Iphone or mac or a flavour of Linux ect....but im still on my original browser and no need for having various browsers installed.
im asking the pro stealthers if they have tried this method and anyone else? |
| JamesNorth101 | 06-15-2013 08:11 AM | Interesting. I have for the last few years used chrome and had no issues with EB PP, even if chrome is a bit buggy sometimes.
I personally think this solve a non existent issue. Interesting none the less though |
Interesting idea - eB/pp don't need this level of encryption/spoof yet however it may work for other platforms we know and love...Amazon?
I wonder if these platforms can see through this though |
| GreenBean | 06-15-2013 11:06 AM | Interesting idea.
tin foil hats inc.

| Mr. Invisible | 06-15-2013 07:20 PM | It's overkill for Ebay, but I use a Firefox plugin to set different resolution, timezone, OS & browser version for all my accounts anyway. Future proof lol
As for amazon...
user accounts/virtual + New IP + user agent switcher (w/ plugin & font detection block, resolution & timezone settings) = as good as new computer |
Font detection block - interesting |

The TimeZone is a very important one :-) well for making stealthers outside our home base.... very good!
I have been looking for this also.
That might be a reason for non English based country's where stealthers setup acc's in other country's say like China based stealther setting up a usa acc and getting linked?
Its one more layer of stealth security thats better than none..surely?
I use the TOR browser [google TOR Project its interesting :-) ]for research on EB looking at competitors ect but it has NO plugins for optimal security but it might have Firegloves built in and compiled into the setup when installing. |
| GreenBean | 06-16-2013 09:29 AM | Be mindful of TOR if operating an ebay/paypal account.
:nono: |
| slapped | 06-16-2013 11:26 AM | For Amazon, ALL of these issues should be addressed when you Create and set up your VM,,if you are doing things properly,,you are creating 1 VM for 1 Amazon,,,so when you set up EACH VM, the Real trick is to use Different Operating Systems and Browser combinations, Each with their own Font/Screen/Desktop/time settings, this will create different User ID Strings, and Different "Browser Fingerprints",,,all of what is being discussed in this thread is useful if you intend to use the Same Operating system and Browser for Every one of your Virtual machines,,,with the ABUNDANCES of places where you can download ANY Operating system and with all of FREE browsers available EACH in several different Versions, my advice would be to do a little extra work BUT,,,create a FAR more effective VM |

look up some user agents strings.... you will see the different language codes
timezone... 4 = est, 5 = cen, 6 = mount, 7 = 420 = pst
Res... 1366x768, 1024x768, 1280x800, 1280x1024, 1440x900
os... mac osx, xp, vista, win 7, win 7 64 bit, win 8, win 8 64 bit
browser... opera, safari, IE, chrome
The combinations are endless, no 2 computers should look a like. But again, for now this is overkill for ebay. |

I would rather have overkill on ebay than suspension notices.
As for amazon, I work it to its limits.
:brushteeth: |
Timezone change - didnt figure it would make difference like that but sounds decent |

If EB/PP starts using this against users then someone may loose out if they never applied these tactics.
Better safe than sorry I think, we never know what might change?
Are we not to be 1 step ahead at all times? |

are you saying TOR is not Stealthy enough? | The issue is not about stealth on TOR, the issue is the TOR program itself - some platforms can detect that you are using TOR so flags go up! TOR means that the user is trying to "hide" so the platforms flag = User is trying to hide so it leads to problems. |

Will look into TOR and see if it shows as TOR on visiting web site or a variation of FireFox as it is Firefox. |

Advice to everyone, If you plan on using something like TOR, please look into deeply before even thinking of using it. |
| Sandy D | 06-17-2013 11:43 PM | Way too risky and not worth the hassle.
Unless someone wants to risk an account and see how long it last before a banned IP comes up. |
| danshan | 06-18-2013 12:37 AM | LOL TOR is used about a million times a day from all over the world to create all kinds of accounts by thousands of users and guess what a big chunk of those accounts created are BS. Say TOR has 100 US exit nodes and 5,000 worldwide users creating US accounts. What do you think your chances of having a successful experience are? Tor is easily detectable and really easy to block since they post a list of their exit nodes on about 1000 sites. I would say very stealthy, nothing more stealthy to hide you but simplest thing out there to detect it is not your true IP.
Was that clear probably not LOL |
| heil86 | 06-18-2013 04:22 AM | Avoid TOR at all risk, danshan explains why pretty clearly. Most traffic from TOR is complete BS, I wouldn't risk even a buyer account unless that's all you had.
User Agent Changing is nice, as long as it stays the same per account. You don't want to see eb/pp/az showing all different browser types and os types on each login. It will start to look very weird. Best to keep it as simple, stupid.
Use different OS, different browser, different IP, name, phone, etc etc. Keep it as unique as possible and as you see necessary. :) |
| slapped | 06-18-2013 09:42 AM | Again on this thread as well, this damn TOR Browser it seems to have become an infestation, contaminating almost Every thread,,,Here is exactly what I Posted on another thread:
I absolutly do NOT understand what the Facination is with this damn TOR Browser,,,it is NOT Goood for Stealth,,It have been PROVEN Over and Over,,,Different Windows User Accounts, VM, and all of the other Techniques described in both The stealth guide and Amazon Ghost, these are the methods that have been proven, and CONTUNIUE to be proven effective,,,So Please all of you Motherf^ck#ers that are here trying to "Reinvent the wheel",,,go do it elsewhere, because all you will accomplish is to confuse some poor Sucker User reading some of these Posts to use the TOR browser and lose an account |

Rather than windows user accounts, I use a virtual sandbox for each account that keeps each version of Firefox settings, history, passwords & plugins separate. So each browser always has its own online appearance using that plugin. |
I figure window user accounts is enough for eb and pp at this time | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:40 AM. | |
