Many times, accounts can survive this, at least initially. I do not believe eBay has a program running to automatically ban accounts logging in with the same IP address.
You have to remember that many people log in with an IP that is Dynamic, meaning that it can be shared - over time, with other users. For example, when I turn off my cable modem, the old IP is released and a new IP takes its place. That old IP is NOT thrown away, it is assigned to someone else.
When it becomes a problem is if one of your accounts gets shut down. eBay then starts looking for other seller accounts that share the same characteristics. If they find the accounts that logged on with the same IP and there are other similarities, THEN the accounts are in danger. Even then, it is not a GUARANTEED shut down, but it happens.
I would suggest NOT using things like "Change IP" or "Switch Dongle" as a password. Changing the IP between accounts should just be part of the routine. Put a sign on your PC if necessary. Use the spreadsheets other members have provided. Do what you have to do.
If this happened to me, I would continue with these accounts as if nothing had happened. I would also create a few more stealth accounts as backups JUST IN CASE the accounts DO get shut down. I would also avoid listing the same items on different accounts. Think about it. The odds of two seller accounts using the same IP are actually pretty good since IP's are dynamically assigned (in most cases). However, the odds drop quickly when you consider two seller accounts using the same IP address AND selling the same items.
