Anyone got any info on trackin the EBAY APPS...?
 

Hi people

This is my first post, so good to meet you all and thanks for your comments in advance.

I was just wondering how the use of the apps for iPhone and ipad are tracked and what are the difference/similarities to using the web site directly.

Can't seem to find out much on this so would imagine its quite an interesting topic and any info people can share would be great fully received

Welcome to the forum.

It is in your best interest to stay as FAR away as possible from any ebay/paypal app. It gives ebay a great way to track you.

I wont use an app.

I dont trust eb enough for them to be sucking info off my phone.

I carry around my trusty Galaxy tablet for anything I need when I am mobile.

Put simply, do NOT use the app.

Very unsafe for stealthing.

LOT of posts about the app - Conclusion: Do NOT use the app...period.
