How to Pick my address for my IP ????
 

Hi guys I have a new dedicated IP setup in London VPN to use with my new stealth account BUT the f**e address I wanna use is 75 miles away from the IP is this a big no no?

If so do I just want to pick a local business address like say a co-op thats not likey to have a ebay account and use that?

Please help as I wanna do this right I have read the guide but im just unclear on this particular part.

VPN are advised against using.

VPS is better.

Are you actually based in the UK? If so there is no need for a VPS

Need to really have access to the address you register to EB.

75 miles away would be fine. Just needs to be a UK IP address, does not need to be local .

yes I live in the UK I am gonna get dedicated IP through a VPN service that way its always the same IP for my windows user account. and when i set up a second account ill just rent another dedicated IP vpn. is this okay?

I do have access to the address as its a friend of my mother in law. and they have never used ebay before or paypal.

You would be better off with a dongle or phone tethering.

You don't need the same IP time and time again for eBay, just to make sure that IP's never cross on stealth accounts.

Also better to avoid using friend or relative info. Use a rental box.

nah mate i need a fast connection i think the dedicated IP will be fine its only £6 a month.

I was gonna reset my IP manually BUT my MRS would log into her iphone app and bugger my accounts hence the need for a dedicated IP for each account seems like the simple option in my opinion.

Ref a rental box could not seem to find anything that dont have a PO box on it etc and ebay flag them big time from what ive heard.

Can you recommend anything? ps thanks for your advice btw ;)

Really advise against using a VPN, they can and do get flagged, especially one that only costs £6 a month.

Use a VPS if you must, but really a 4G dongle is just as fast.

Just google 'mail rental box' and then the area you want the box in.

Ok thanks mate so your saying dongle is best route yeh. so in meantime until i get a dongle I could just manually reset my IP and use my own connection and then switch to dongle? which would be better i guess as I get a 2nd+ stealth accounts set up yeh??? coz the dongle changes IP dynamically whenever u log out and in again yeh?

You still need to track your IP addresses even when using a dongle as you can get repeating IP's even if its rare

In the mean time yes you can use your own connection, but again make sure you track the IP.
