ebay app on iphone dangers
 

The ebay app works a lot better than being forced to use the browser because ebay keeps wanting me to go to the mobile website and doesn't let me do advanced search unless I go to advanced search and try and search at least twice.

I'm asking this because my iphone is using an Apple ID that I was used to use with my banned account from 2 years ago on an IP address that my new account is linked to. My brother was linked to my old ip aswell before my account was made and is linked to the same new one I'm linked to now... So I

Was wondering could I be linked by just searching with the ebay app and not signing I. Or is that impossible?. A bit confusing I know hah. But thanks

Read the following User Agreement sections.....After you read them....tell me it's a good idea to use the apps.

OP, avoid the app - and perhaps go on a laptop/desktop to also spread your stealths :)

ok im aware people will advise not to use the app but could these steps below help not getting linked -
using app on same phone as used on banned account

steps taken -

1) reset phone
2) new sim card (same number just replacing sim to enable new ip addys)
3) new apple iTunes account with new email address
4) obviously new ebay account
5) location services disabled

when i first got banned from eBay i spent weeks scratching my head as to why my new stealth accounts were getting mc999 everytime and since i got rid of the app I've never had a mc999 again so it does cause problems,

but I got a new iphone 5c when It came out i think 6 months ago and added my main account onto it using the eBay app, never thought of changing my iTunes details when i downloaded it onto my new phone, anyway my account is nearly 7 months old, top rated with high limits and I rang ebay the other week for an increase and all went well.

So can't see the problem in using it as long as it's a brand new phone that's never had the app installed and you use it for only one stealth account

The advice has been given, use at your own risk. If your determined 100% to use it, not sure why people even bother asking if their going to use the app anyways.
