Is there a POP email program for the Apple Mac that disables Web Beacon's?

eBay puts a tiny tracking image ("Web Beacon") in each email that it sends.
That tracking image gets ones IP address & can also read ones cookies.

I used my main email address to open my first ebay account. That account got suspended.

Now I am stuck with my main email address, which hundreds of my contacts use, is also receiving messages from eBay.

I am trying to find a way of preventing the Web Beacon's in eBay's email from working.

The only way I can think of is to use my main computer
for everything apart from receiving email. And use a different computer connected to a different network to access my email.

I use an Apple mac.

Does anyone know of a POP email program for the Apple Mac that disables Web Beacon's (in the same way that GoogleMail does)?

Use gMail from Google.
Just go into each gmail account's preferences and turn on the POP option.
Then go into Mail and add the account as you would a .mac account.
POP= pop.gmail.com
SMTP= smtp.gmail.com
Turn ON authorization and use the complete address name@gmail.com when setting up the account in Mail.

I use a Mac also and I have about 12 gmail accounts that I receive through Mail.
I never log into gmail via the web site.
