Ok, I don't want to alarm you guys, but I am a bit alarmed on this. I have moved several accounts to the firefox portable, logged them in with different ip from the same user acct etc. But I was just curious as I went into Adobe's website to check what kind of flash cookies they put in my computer and check this out:
And this picture is all throughout the other firefox portable installs. Is this a possible link factor? Should we be worried? Does the user account method different?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
The above post is from the user account that has all the firefox portable stuff on there.
The following picture is from another user account, one of my best accounts actually and I have not moved this on to firefox portable. Notice that the websites is different compared to the above picture:
So what do you guys think? Linking factor or not? I know for sure that an ebay rep has told me that they do track through flash cookies. Something to think about I guess.
personally, I keep my FFmobile folders in a shared folder.
I then use the "guest" account on my mac, which has been customized to my settings
this way, every time I log out of the guest user, ALL browser info is deleted, yet the cookies are contained in the FF browser inside the shared folder.
Adobe Flash maintains its own repository of cookies independent of the web broswer. These cookies are visible across the OS platform.
Now whether all these precautions actually matter is another question, I'm not so sure. I personally believe eBay/PP seem to have eased their stance on one account one user. eBay now seem to have a major, mega preoccupation with greed even if it means allowing all those banned individuals back on board in droves.
Best to disable flash plugin for FF Portable.
if you need flash, use Chrome Portable, it has built-in flash and doesnt store flash cookies in shared folder of windows.
Type in Google Flash cookies - click Adobe and it should show Global settings - use the 2nd tab at the top and untick both boxes and then the second to last tab delete all previous sites.
When you create any new folder for FFP flash will automatically be disabled.

Do you mean like this picture below? Also, do you do this to every new firefox portable install? Thanks
