How do I change my Mac Address?

Hi, I am not sure if I am posting in the correct section here...but here goes..

I am following the ebay stealth guide and trying to set up multiple ebay accounts, I am stuck on the part of changing my mac address.

I have gone into control panel > network & sharing > change adapter settings> LAC> properties > config > advanced> network address and entered the mac address under value, changing the last 2 characters.

I have done this then in run > cmd entered getmac and then the first row appears as my changed mac address and beside that it reads "media disconnected" then the next line it reverts back to the original mac address \device \ Tcpip etc. Does this mean it is not changing and if so how can I change it successfully? Thanks

There are many free programs that will SPOOF your MAC addresses. Search the forums, I know there are a couple of recommended programs out there, but I cannot recall their names offhand.

Don't need to worry so much on MAC for eBay, OP.

Changing MAC address is not a must.

You don't need to do that if you can change your IP somehow. Switching your modem/router off and on again could be a solution.

There are some ways to do it, maybe using socks, proxy, VPN, etc,..google have full infor for you

None of those options are even remotely "safe" to use

You can spoof it, its really easy to do in linux or ubuntu
