Hi, not meaning to hijack this thread.. but have a question as I have been receiving harassing emails from a gmail account..

If I send an email from a gmail account to another gmail account, can someone who works at Verizon track the IP just from having the email address I sent it from? Or can they track other things such as the originating computer/address????

I know gmail is a public server and from looking online I cant seem to find the "from IP"... all im basically asking, what can the internet companies trace?

Ebay suspension -- email linked? (paypal)
 

I was suspended from Ebay a few months ago. I bought the Stealth book, but I have a question.

I know that Ebay links to Paypal, but I have an issue now.

I had about 4 different emails attached to my Paypal account.. One of the email addresses I was using is for a completely different business (never used it with Ebay).

What I want to do is close this Paypal account altogether and open a new one (following the instuctions in the book).

If I add on the email address I use for my other business to the new account, could that link me up again? I plan to delete this email address with my current account before I delete it. Would that make a difference?

Yes from my experience in the past. I highly recommend just registering on Gmail or Yahoo with a new email address for the new paypal account. Is that address really that important? I personally would not risk it. Good luck!

Is there a big difference from what paypal fees are taken out of a Personal account and what's taken out of a Merchant account?

I had another email I used for iTunes (and the money was taken out of paypal with that email address). My iTunes account has my name on it and I think they check to see if I have the same name on Paypal.

Ok, no problem.. I can change my email address for my other business and have everything on the new ebay & paypal account different.

So, with iTunes, if I put in a new email address on that account and it's linked to paypal, will that cause a problem (since I have the same iTunes account) or should I not link that to paypal at all?

Hi guys just a quick question.
When I get questions about my items, can I answer them through my gmail account from any computer as long as I put the default as Basic Html?I just do not like having to always dial up and enter my account to answer every question.Can ebay track you this way and do I always have to answer the question using the corresponding windows user account or can I use any account as long as I click onto e-mail while it is in basic HTML?Thanks.

Do Ebay not track your emails using the images they send?
Does gmail block this tracking? Ie if I open ebay emails from 2 accounts on the same computer at the same time, will the accounts be linked?
