IP management

Have enormous experience with static IPs, but dongle stuff is a bit fresh for me. As I understand, the main technique of using 3G dongles is to connect, do something, then disconnect. Then connect again, check if the IP hasn't been used before with ANY of other created or used stealth accounts, and work again?

Yes, perfect.

I am using dynamic IP since ever and it is fine. Just make sure is different and never been used on other account before. You need an ISP with a big pool of addresses.

Im doing the same.
I use Macbook and each time i want to enter to any account i first check the ip
if is repeat i disconnect the dongle and connect again, And sometimes i have a different IP If not i disconnect the dongle until it gives me a new IP.
I have 9 accounts just worried if some day the IP record will be full and won't be able to enter.

That's why you need a backup, eventually you might use up the whole pool.

This idea that you will get limited by IP alone is ridiculous especially when you are using cellular based IPs. Cellular based IPs are being used by difference people everyday and being recycled. Do you really think eBay or Paypal will ban cellular network as a whole?

I would not put too much stress in this. You are sharing a pool of IPs with other users for the same ISP in the same area... you do not have a "dedicated" pool and others are probably using eBay as well.

If you get a brand new IP to use it is perfect... if you came up with an IP you used weeks before it is not an issue at all.

Re: IP management

So, I see different opinions. I am from my country, and plan to use IPs from a 3G operator from the same country. So, the best will be not to re-use IPs ever?

3G has huge huge pool of IPs... Even if you repeat 1 or 2 down the road, i doubt that you will get limited for it.

Logging in with the same ip on different accounts a few times here and there may not hurt anything but if you've got 100 accounts and you're reusing the same ip's from suspended accounts on all them, it could be a problem.

In your personal opinion what will you do if you use all the IP Pool?
what backup do you mean?

Okay, so 3 different dongles with large pools will save the day?

Sounds good to me, you never know one might quit working.

multiple carriers and mixing up 3g and 4g across carriers for wide IP ranges.

On most of my big accounts, I move to a VPN or broadband. Some of the accounts I only plan on using until tax limited I sometimes use broadband and swap routers or spoof a mac(depending on who I am working with, nothing more simple for other people than swapping a router) with a service such as comcast because each mac often pulls the same IP for weeks and even months sometimes.

OP is not from the USA. You need to check the flag before reply.

Read the post correctly. How do you know there is a large 3G pool in his country, Latvia.

You simply do not.

agree with this.

I just hit reset, not checked a IP for 6 months+. No way a accounts getting linked solely by IP, too much data they'd need to record and loads of people logging on shared connections at the library, starbucks or wherever

I've never tracked my ip's either but if you've got a large amount of accounts on the same device it could become a problem once your pool runs out, just don't be surprised if all your accounts get wiped out, out of nowhere.

But do we still need to track our IP Even if we use an Iphone?

Re: IP management

the biggest ip issue is when they cross fairly consistently. The more accounts that consistently cross ips the more likely for a solid link. That is the problem with broadband and VPNs if they leak on some browsers or a connection that gets interrupted for a second here of there. The VPN drops and your broadband IP gets pulled. Then on account B, same thing happens. Account C and D etc... one has an issue, a manual review shows an IP pool link and they all get banned because they all consistently crossed the broadband IP.

You can if you want, I used a Verizon iPhone for years.

If you are serious about stealth, it is wise to track the IPs.

That way you can keep better control of the accounts. You need never worry a reused IP caused an issue.

All comes down to how you decide to operate, imo.
