Acronis is the best. I tried creating an image with windows 8 method, recreate it from that image and it did not work. I was like, wtf dude. I can even post the YouTube link for this error, lots of people were having it. This is your own product Microsoft, and u can't even get this right! With acronis, u just hit clone hard drive, hit source, then select destination hard drive, then about 30 mins...voila!!!! Put new hdd and you're all set, all cookies, user accts, everything there. Just upgraded to an ssd yesterday.

I have a P4 from 2002 that uses dial-up....can't be worse than that :d

transfer my saved files from 1 computer to the next and cookies as well if possible...

Does this work for chrome? Is it possible to transfer cookies from Windows 7 to Mac?

Directory where you can find Chrome's Cookie file down below......

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Us er Data\<Profile #>

Inside this Profile folder you find "Cookies" file, just copy this file and overwrite the destination file to move the Cookies from Profile to Profile / Browser to Browser.

Tested this myself and yes it works................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
