entropay Might shut Down
 

Hi
Its just an observation .
I think entropay might in the process of shutting down the service as they have stopped accepting new registrations .
Any thoughts on alternatives ?

I really hope not.

Still very useful for paying fees I find.

But certainly very abused.

Having said that, I would not be surprised at all to see them go.

A reminder that good things don't last forever

They made a lot of money with gamblers from non EEA countries for sure, and then that was taken away from them due to the new VISA regulations.

Let's hope that they still continue in business for those of us in the EEA

they have successful running business, closing it down would be the last thing they want, i think they close the signup because of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ signup they might want to lower down the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ signup rate before opening signup again
so lets hope for good

They have successful business because of the subscribers then why would they want to lower their user rate ?
I think because of the new VISA rule their userbase has lower significantly thus lowering revenue for the company
I think they are not able to recover their operation cost

apart from that even they after regulation they are best in market and they are very old company estab year 2000 they can easily run in loss for many years depending on the huge revenue so closing down doest seem the right option

well anyone with brain can tell you , they close accepting new registrations to stop non EEA with new signups using proxies that leak real ips.

i hope they continue for some time until there are alternative .

I think you have not used Entropay or even read the full thread .
Why would someonw create account using proxy when you cant topup it without a credit or debit card issued in EEA

this whole thing is so sad, i made a few ⊗⊗⊗⊗ entropay accounts with temporary mail addresses to check some stuff there and not saved any information of those, now i can not make a real one.. F*CK!

no this assumption is not correct ,i used a lot to buy crypto.

:boink: you really believe in this ? basically you can get a card with EEA address even if you are not based there. but it's require a plan if they are plastic cards .

i asked about when new registrations will be reopened, they told me "probably not very soon" in a very nice way round

i asked if they arer closing their service then, they did not answer.:violin:

whoever the source is, this seems pretty legit.. i mean think about it.. very, VERY low fees, which is why everybody used it.

Does anyone of you know what it costs for a company to issue a new card number or buy them in Bulk? me neither, but they wil probably make no money with this.. assuming that around 90% of customers just used them to verify various services like netflix, spotify, paypal, etc


now more and more websites do not accept entropay and also they get forced to review their not verified accounts.. so pretty big trouble there :)

I haven't received the official letter from Entropay that they will finish their work.

Multiple users have received the email about entropay shuttinh down in APR 2019 .
All the topup methods like credit card ,debit card, and bank account transfer is stopped by entropay .
Please check if you are able to use any topup methods .

maybe they will end up working with small number of clients based on their kyc status and how much money they make money for entropay ..hahaha ( sarcasm ) :dance:

i got the e-mail from entropay.info which i thought its phishing message or sent by hackers ,it went straight to spam folder .

We’re sorry to let you know that Entropay is imposing new account restrictions. This means, over the coming months, your Entropay account functionality will be gradually restricted.

We are letting you know about this change now so you will have plenty of time to withdraw or spend any money that is on your account.









Here is how this change will affect you:

14 December 2019
You will not be able to top up your account from credit or debit cards, or from bank transfers.

26 February 2019
All virtual cards in your account will be deleted and any remaining money will be transferred to your wallet balance. Payouts and transfers will be disabled and any outstanding transactions will be cancelled.







Please make sure you have withdrawn or spent any money on your Entropay account before 24 April 2019.

i'm not sure why there is high demands on bulk vcc creation on this forum in particular , but for me even two-three reloadable vcc's are more than enough ,

maybe we just need too many accounts.. i have XX uk and around XX ger now.. and i expect around 40 of the uk to die in the next 2 months

i am obviously not following the stealth methods known in this forum to let accounts live a long time :D

for me, the creation is not a problem, but the price.. cheaper is always better and entropay had revolutionized that system.. also that you can have unlimited VCCs.. not only 20 or 50ish in a lifetime like other providers offer
