Alternatives to EntroPay Closing Down - Virtual Credit Card (VCC)
 

Yes, I've recently received a confirmation that EntroPay will be shutting down. Therefore, we would need to find an alternative.

At this point in time, these are the available options.

1. Revolut (Best Option)
2. Payoneer (Second Best Option)
3. Abine
4. Loadoo
5. MyCard2Go

Now, since Revolut since to be the best option, has anyone tried to link their PayPal account using a different billing address on file?

I believe that if we all work together, we will conquer and defeat their system!:pop2:

1) Mycard2go have stopped registration
2) Loadoo website not even functioning
3) Revolut will lock you account and ask questions which not an issue
4) Not sure if abine works for EU customers

I will really miss entropay tbh it was the best around. I saw moneypolo but they stopped registration aswell.

I am also currently searching for a good Entropay alternative.

So far here is what I found and I am in a process of testing them:

1. ecoPayz.com
2. jointoken.com
3. Yandex Money
4. Spendesk.com
5. lamdacardservices.com
6. Revolut for Business (Personal accounts is limited to 3 VCCs only, where Biz to 30)
7. Abine (Blur) Looks like a really good alternative to Entropay, but sadly they only accept US citizens
8. Privacy.com - US citizens only
9. Emburse.com - US citizens only

Do you know if Revolut accepts a mismatch in the name and address?

They require account verification so, if you don't have the necessary documents I doubt you'll get verified.

And since their cards are Mastercard I think they also have AVS, since I haven't yet seen a Mastercard without AVS support.

I've already submitted all the documents to Revolut. I meant, when trying to link your PayPal Stealth to your Revolut Virtual Card, will it be accepted if there is a different name and address?

I see you are from Malta and entropay use bank of valleta from malta only why dont you open account and check there prepaid card option and let us know

If you all work together then it eventually gets used and abused, better to keep any finds to yourself ;)

EntroPay was an Ixaris brand and was closed due to Visa not extending licensing in Europe for gaming. Ixaris is launching Onvoy (similar to Revolut) now in the next few weeks.

All I want to know if Revolut accepts mismatch names and addresses when linking the VCC to PayPal.

Yes, I agree but I mean sharing some findings since EntroPay is closing down and it doesn't seem we have a lot of options to choose from at this point in time.

Do you know if whether they allow name and addresses mismatch when linking the VCC to PayPal? And, since I'm from Malta, can I still make use of their services?

Not sure if PayPal allows mismatch or not, but I am from Bulgaria and none of our banks here and their card has AVS support and I've used different card with different names without problem. I have few different card verified in PayPal (I have one card on my name in my PayPal and another one on a different name confirmed and verified as well), so my guess is that they do not do an AVS check as long as you are able to confirm that card. But this is only my opinion.

Can someone try to link their Revolut Virtual Card to PayPal with a mismatch address and let us know if it worked.

Or maybe you might know of another company that does work for people living in Europe?

Neteller, skrill and Revolut are all AVS cards therefore require address to match to be added/confirmed.

Just tried to link a Revolute VCC to PP on a brand new stealth account and got an immediate request for Docs & limitation. Any advice guys?

That's the 2nd report its not working. I tried using one recently, it went fine but the code did not show, so was useless for confirming a card.

EntroPay cards are not currently working with eBay and PayPal

12/24/18 > PayPal rejects card and limits account, tested PP FR
01/01/19 > eBay rejects card, tested by eBay US

Check the "How to use it?" section... it's not a Visa or Mastercard, and the merchant has to specifically support it.

I thought it was weird that the introduction only stated that it works on "hundreds" of sites lol.

Privacy.com is a good alternative but it only support US and currently I don't know any website where i can buy a US number (as sms verification) but even if i buy us number, i can't verify myself there.

You also gotta have a US banking account to link it to privacy.com

The US phone number is easier to get, the rest is hard.

I've registered and verified my accounts in the following services:

epayservices.com
(getting a VCC is pretty straight forward, but funding the account is little frustrating. My only option (because i am not a Russian citizen) is a wire transfer. And to do a wire transfer I have to pay two taxes: one in my local bank to do a international bank transfer, which is around $20 and another $20 on epayservices website to receive a wire transfer, that makes it $40 in total just to fund the account. Haven't tested their VCCs yet, but I've talked with them and they said that their card has AVS, just letting you know.

(Same here, the only option to fund the account is with a wire transfer, haven't done that yet, so I don't know the taxes, but my guess is they will be similar. The issue is that on their website they state that we can issue unlimited VCCs, but I couldn't see how in their backend/dashboard. Their support told me that I have to write an email to cards@satchelpay.com about that and this is what I did about 2 weeks ago and I haven't received an reply yet lol)

I think the best option would be something like CryptoPay. It's only for Rus citizens for now. When it will be EU at least it would be much better, but I don't know when.

Don't know why they tell me to use the address from my Utility Bill when they previously said the cards doesn't have AVS lol...

Anyways, no matter they do not have AVS, one card per currency isn't viable to me so I am scratching them out...

If you have a way to cash out funds instead of withdraw, www.transcard.bg is good. You can have up to 5 VCC. After use you can delete and create a new one. As many as you need. But they are Master cards only so you won't be able to withdraw to a card. You'll get one virtual IBAN as well.

www.icard.com is better. You can have up to 20 VCC and you have the option to choose Master or Visa. Additional you can order a plastic Visa to be delivered to your home. It will cost you around 7 BGN. I don't see limit there for the plastic cards.

I'm still waiting for CCB to fix their VCC service. Their option was best.

No. :) It's a service of a Bulgarian bank - http://virtualcard.ccbank.bg/
But they stopped it few months ago. I was using it for years. You have no limits there or verification. Just email, phone and Bulgarian citizenship number(but that's easy to generate).

Has anyone found a solution to use instead of EntroPay? It has to be in Europe. Something that doesn't use AVS.

Yes, it's only for Bulgaria. You can try www.icard.com . It's an app and it's very simple to use. If you, of course, don't mind the 5 minute verification and the copy of ID. You're limited to 20 VCC but I had a few cases that I needed VCC urgent just to confirm Paypal and I just registered the app to a different phone(with a different mobile number) and sent to myself a gift card.

Most of these services require KYC id verification and only work for EU and US citizens, is there any that can be used by latin americans?

Have successfully managed to add Revolut to new Paypal with mismatched names. From what I can see, the address has to have digits matching to Revolut details.

Eg. if your Revolut address is

123 London Road,
Rightown
Sussex
KT9 8JS

You may use any letters in the address as long as the digits are the same. So for PayPal you can add:

123 Liverpool Road,
Fairfield,
Liverpool,
LP9 8HA

The 123 from door number are same, and so are 9 and 8 from post code.

Have added today and verified successfully, listed the first item no problems.
