Entropay mystery charge 'Customer Representative Debit Adjustment ' ?? Help!
Hi folks!
I recently transferred some money to my Entropay card, as usual there was the fee charged for transferring my money from bank account onto Entropay card which I accepted, however the next day when I came to use the money on the Entropay card I noticed that I had been hit with this 'Customer Representative Debit Adjustment' charge of £10.15 !!! WTF!!!
So for transferring £140 onto my Entropay card I had been charged just under £7 for the fee then this £10 'Customer Representative Debit Adjustment ' charge, so its cost me over £17 in fees! Ironically because they added on this extra £10.15 charge I was no longer able to use the Entropay card to make the purchase I wanted as it suddenly wasnt enough money! What a joke!
Does anyone know what this 'Customer Representative Debit Adjustment ' charge is? I've used Entropay for several years and never had this problem before, nor was I warned about this before making the transfer because if I had known I wouldnt have bothered using it. Does this mean that everytime I add money to my Entropay card from now on there is going to be an extra £10+ fee?
I've emailed Entropay about it but had no reply from their 'Help' desk. What an absolute con.
