Takes a few hours to list and a few days for your keywords to filter your items into their resting point, until you edit the SEO

why does it take days to index, ebay can pretty much do in seconds
It doesnt take days per se. If it takes too long, usually they flagged something they dont like for review.
In some cases could be a bug or system issue, but this is a really minimum %. If thats the case, just wait a little longer or contact them with the ticket support system.
