Thanks, just wondering if you use real information to make your stealth shops, or if you have been successful using made up information? I have been looking through the Etsy stealth threads, and it seems quite a challenge to make stealth Etsy shops using made up information. The only thing I can think of is to ask people for permission to use their information to make Etsy shops, but considering how easily it seems that Etsy shops are banned I am quite hesitant on this.

First time I was suspended I switched to my wife's details and worked for years - that doesn't really qualify as stealth. I can fully understand reluctance to use stealth info. With pp only shops gone, some people will have a tough choice to make.

You're in the UK, that's no challenge. The US is the hard one with SSN..

Thanks so much for your pointers. I'll give it a go some time. I do agree with you that Etsy shops are only temporary. The competition is fierce in the POD industry; it is common to hear stories of sellers receiving trademark infringements - they have an item going for some time that is bestselling, someone trademarks it and goes after their listing and shop. Everyday some bozo is trying to register new trademarks that are currently trending its nuts.

Yeah, it sucks. People are trying to make a living out here only for that stream of income to be ripped away from them.
