Etsy reserve and tracking numbers, am i shadow banned?
 

Hey guys :p

Just a couple questions which I could not find answered here or elsewhere on the internet.

My account was put on reserve on 9 may, and from my understanding reserves are typically 90 days, so I had assumed my reserve would be lifted on 7 august, however it has not been. Since 7 august however, my listings do not appear in search. I have still received a couple orders from previous customers etc.

Since I am dropshipping items from DHGate, I receive EMS tracking numbers . Once I receive the tracking number from my DHGate supplier, I add it to the etsy order (add package > set delivery company to other > type China Post (seems to be the only way for etsy to somewhat detect the tracking number) > enter the tracking number), where it remains in "pre-transit". It stays like that and does not change, despite the tracking number having updates when I enter it into a parcel tracking website. I think this might be caused by me entering "China Post" into the delivery company, but I am not sure what else to enter.
Since etsy requires an order's tracking number to be 'in transit' in order for the funds to be released, I have not been able to receive any money for 2 weeks now.

Does anybody know a workaround for this? I have spent $3000 fulfilling orders, without receiving any payments from etsy and I am getting really frustrated. Any help with this will be much appreciated.

if Etsy takes your tracking number to China POST and cant find it,then it is not going to update your order.may be someone will come along and shed more light/
or have yo try talking to Etsy

It actually not 90 days. It depends on them. One of my account's payments reserved was removed after 4 months and another one after 5 months

Good experience contribution - so 90 days not a hard set

Ah ok, thank you for telling me, that makes me feel a bit better. May I ask if you know if there are any factors which you know of which can contribute to the length of the reserve? I am on track to become star seller in September and i'm hoping that may help.
