Etsy new account creation story
The day before yesterday, I tried to open an account. During registerion, I put wrong name Janjellw instead of Janjelle (Dutch name ) and Etsy suspended my account during registerion. I noticed the mistake but cant go back and Etsy suspended my account immediatelly after confirming the name page.
I wont bother to contact Etsy support and yesterday I use the same person data to re-create the account again. All the same except the phone number. Same bank account,which was confired by Etsy during registerion ( note: not the mini deposit).
And the account is still alive and I wasnt asked to uplaod ID for this account. I will list more items in next couple days.
I will keep update of this account.
So you see Etsy is smarter than we may think. I have 100% successful creations (5 accounts so far ) except the above mistake.
Not 100% steath account,kind of half real ,another half not.

I have tried several times to open a new etsy account, but it won't let me.After one day, the account is blocked.They say the tax number is incorrect. |

When I create a new etsy account they send me this letter.I have tried everything that used to work, now nothing works, anyone has any idea how to solve this.
It looks like your taxpayer info may be missing or incorrect. Visit your legal and tax information page to see what we have on file for your shop and make any updates. You're required to have a valid VAT on file with Etsy for tax purposes.
When you provide a valid VAT ID to Etsy, you are establishing a business relationship between your shop and Etsy. This status and your business location determine whether Etsy is required by the tax authorities to charge VAT on seller fees. |

Weird. my old accounts haven't added the VAT, all fine. Selling below VAT requirements should be ok without adding VAT.

I will list more products afater Chinese New Year and try to sell the first product first.
If works, I am considering to sell my service here then - build 100% safety creation environment + Etsy accounts.
I am running and building the accounts from China. |
