Etsy now charging to setup a new account

Tried to startup a new account and Etsy want to charge my credit card £11 now just to start. Am guessing the rate they are suspending accounts am guessing they wanna make money off it.

That payment of 11 is something very rare, usually a minimum charge is made to verify the card in your payment method.

I think banning them after first sale is enough don’t you think. I bet ye the 11£ isn’t refundable though once you’re banned. It’s a scam

Again the rate there are banning accounts with no comeback why not make money out of it.

it is better to make money from what is sold on Etsy than what is banned on ETSY.

Not if they don’t need any sellers! You watch it’ll come around where they’re begging for sellers. eBay’s the same.
