I have never been "gotten" by a bot (knock on wood!) but competitors, yes YES YES. Also it has been said on here before but it is important so I will say it again: fly under the radar. Stay out of their forums. Don't make waves. Keep your head down, make your customers happy (even if they are being ridiculous) and do not do anything to draw attention to yourself. AT. ALL.

So how would you avoid the bots .. just listing sparingly and then check to see if item shows up within a hr... if not then take a day or two and try again with more listings.. I listed lot of items and thinking competition did something but realize other people selling same thing so thinking it might the bots.. I don't know...

What do you mean by flagged words.. you mean using keywords that aren't related to your item?

Do not read the Et/sy forums and be tempted to contact Et/sy staff to fix your account. Contacting them is as bad as contacting EB, PP, AZ...the first thing they do is manually review your account to make sure you aren't breaking the rules.

There's an easy way to know if you are flagged by a bot or by a person. If you cannot find your items in search or by looking up your own items within shop search...go to the developer section and see if it says "developer mode" if it does, well... There's two things that happen. They either want verification where you have to show them work space photos and other bs that they actually do not give a damn about or they will kill the entire account once someone from their integrity dept. sees it.
