Thank you for your input but one thing that I'm worried is on the same page for et*sy they ask you for your bank information which I will give the correct name and a new name and address for etsy wont they see that we are not the same person, that is what im worried about. |

You need a new name for yourself, it does not matter that it does not match the bank account you give. They will not confirm you with your bank details.
They will ask you for personal information which needs to be the new name, and a new address. They will ask you for id, which needs to have these details.
Once they confirm who you are with your id, they will ask you for a credit card to add to your account to pay your et.sy bill, this will need to be a vcc in your new name and address.
Hope this helps but again different country might mean different process, i know its different for our friends in the us as they need an ssn

| They don't verify you with your credit card that's more so that you can pay their bill, they will need your address. I mean you can try leaving it blank but I'm pretty sure they want it so they can look for you. When they can't find you they will then ask for ID |

So when they ask for ID, can you use the VCC as an ID?
Also, I am in the US with a stealth identity that has a us address that is in a different state than my new ip. What i want to do is open an etC acct as a canadian to bypass the ssn. my old acct was banned. I have opened the new acct with my stelth email and us ip. But to open my shop i need all the other stuff. Any advice is greatly appreciated!! |

| im not sure about that. burned a stealth account because my ip shows that its in sanjose. when I'm in oakland, which is about 50 miles away from each other insta banned.
this was with the paypal stealth unless they changed it just my personal imput |

| It was likely that you were banned for a much different reason, I have many accounts registered in CA that I use a NY ip to login to, for many years without issues |

Agree with unknown5454, the IP was not the downfall....etsy isn't going to kill an account for an IP being 50 miles away, your IP could be 100 miles away and it would not matter. |

am i the only one who use xfinity wifi in the states and use there free hotspots. that auto generate new ip everyday and for every device? i feel like thats the best free way |

Bit of a random question about Etsy traffic, hopefully some of you have suggestions:
I sell a lot on Etsy during Monday to Thursday. Then the sales and traffic drop off a cliff for the weekend and come Monday morning, I'm back busting ass and generating normal traffic and sales.
Usually I would expect traffic/sales to hike up over the weekend, as they do in Ebay but for some reason my traffic drops a solid 50% and sales drop about 80%
What could be the issue? |
