You only posted some link to a news article on the internet and trying to say that Trump "made" 3k jobs when in fact Intel laid off about 12k employees. The CFO of Intel, something Smith (forgot the 1st name) said that 6k of those will be accomplished by the end of 2016. So I guess the other 6k+ will be accomplished in 2017.

I got that info over 8 months ago, I dont have to search the internet to fact check anything. I once interviewd Mr Smith when I worked over at Morgan Stanley in July of 2006, he became CFO of intel in March or April of 2006.

The main building was completed right down to its heating and air conditioning systems, but in 2014, Intel announced amid a downturn in PC sales that it would instead build 14nm chips at existing facilities in Oregon and Arizona. The 1,000 jobs that the facility was supposed to create instead went to those existing factories. Before today, Intel hadn't decisively commented on the facility's fate, but at the time of the cancellation, the company did say that the building would eventually be used.

wow you are beyond stupid, The reason why Intel stopped the expansion plans is because the computer industry was having a downturn in 2012. The worldwide shipments of computers dropped (i dont remember the exact numbers) so intel stopped all expansion plans and just continued using their current buildings. It wasnt because of some president in office and his dismal & restrictive economy. I'll give it to you in simple words.

THE WORLD STOPPED BUYING SO MANY COMPUTERS SO INTEL DIDNT HAVE THE NEED TO EXPAND ANYMORE. SO THEY STOPPED THEIR PLANS TO EXPAND IN ARIZONA.
