Slaves, sorry....if you didn't want to be exploited you should of ran faster back in your Homeland, tough. Worst, they had be freed and stuff but those Plantation Owners did have a good run there, and were able to make a killing! | Ummm, republicans freed the slaves and fought to end segregation. The democrats fought against the civil rights bill. They fought very hard with fire hoses, tear gas, burning crosses, lynchings etc.. After the democrats lost on being on the side of racism and would have never won another election they started giving hand outs & paying people to vote for them & somehow where able to convince uneducated voters that republicans had it in for them.
Of course, you would never learn these facts in the public schools. |

Yea, that's completely un true. But the left has been successful at embedding that into some peoples brains.
Conservatives values remain a party that promotes encouragement , sucess, self reliability, smaller government, lower taxes, peace through strength, belief in the individual, family, freedom, Sancity & Dignity of human life.
Democrat values are big government, government control & regulations, tax & spend, common core, common good. They kill jobs, kill growth, they discourage individualism, encourage dependency, almost every American city they control has become a welfare state.
They literally tell you that YOU CAN'T succeed! That the stakes are against you, you've been treated unfair & you won't have sucess .
They have become a party of hundreds of different activists & extremists.
Get it? They NEED you to NEED them. |

Do I need to start quoting from these sites or can you read them all by yourself? Just don't ask Trump to read those sites....too many words, he hates to read anything longer than 100 words.
He should of taken some Reading Comprehension Classes at Trump University.....oh wait, it no longer exist. |

Of course, you would never learn these facts in the public schools. | Abraham Lincoln only freed slaves in states that rebelled against the Union. They were not emancipated in KY, MD, DE, and MO. Martin Luther King was a republican, but it's as MM78 stated, back in the day Republicans were the equivalent of Democrats, and now the roles have switched. On top of that 6 European countries paid reparations to slave owners of freed slaves. How psychotic is that!? Do you not see the injustice, inequality, and damage that this amongst many things e.g. jim crow laws, etc have caused today? |

It was because he needed those states to remain in the union so he could win the war & abolish slavery all together.
Unfortunately, two weeks after the war he was shot & killed (by a democrat)& was not able to end slavery himself.
A year or so later a 100% republican congress radicated the 13 amendment Ending slavery.
Again, the party & its core beliefs did not change, there was no swap (as democrats would like you to believe)
The only swap to refer to is simply the reversal in which states tend to support certain candidates. There was a switch in the rust belt states this past election, but that doesn't change the party. |

Again no populism - just want to know what your thoughts are when it comes to a the PRESIDENT who behaved and spoke this way on the record. |

Again no populism - just want to know what your thoughts are when it comes to a the PRESIDENT who behaved and spoke this way on the record. | First off, I have yet to use childish or any absurd comments. So why would I now?
I'm not going to make excuses for all his behavior.
The pus grab was a dumb thing to say , but he did say when referring to groupies "I could " not "I did" or " I would" he was referring to the way groupies act toward celebrities & how sexually agressive they act toward him.
The other, I was there in person about 30 feet away when he did it. Again dumb move especially because this time he was running for office. It is was dumb even though the guy he was referring to had just threw him under the bus,
I said earlier, he's not the greatest guy in the word, but I do like that he's not ⊗⊗⊗⊗, we all know his personality, like it or not , we know him. I & many others voted for him for these reasons. I'd rather him be himself then to "act presidential " we've been dealing with a two party system that does nothing except butt heads, point fingers spend billions of dollars & get nothing done.
He set into motion a huge change in government. I don't know which way it will go but the people have spoken & the biggest message was "we are sick & tired of politics as usual". |
| slokor | 02-06-2017 06:18 PM | Re: Watching Trump's inauguration I didn't say you used childish and absurd comments - I asked that you not use HIS (i.e. Trump's) excuses. At least you didn't in the past.
This time you did. You just excused what he said. Saying it was dumb was all you needed to say. You didn't need to go on and with the word 'But' since everything after that is just a dumb excuse justifying what he said. Same thing with the other issue I mentioned (his attitude towards a handicapped person) - NOTHING excuses that behavior so enough with the 'But's.
As for what he does or will do - take note of where the economy is right now and where it was in 2008. Mark the place it is right now with 4.7-4.8% unemployment and the rate of growth of the conomy. We shall see where those figures are come 2020. |

Its like hearing trump himself!
So jojo2012 youre denying that trump said that these negative polls are all ⊗⊗⊗⊗ news?
Here to refresh your memory (I mean it HAS been over 24 hours):
"Any negative polls are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ news, just like the CNN, ABC, NBC polls in the election. Sorry, people want border security and extreme vetting.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 6, 2017"
