Just watched a documentary on this and wow flippin unbelievable! Green Bean have you heard of this if so whats your take on it? Makes me want to write some letters.......
Every story has many dimensions. My gut feeling is that by association Schapelle has had bad luck. She has been betrayed by people including her own blood-kin. She's by no means an angel but in the wrong spot at the wrong time.
When this happened there was a drug ring operating at the international airports on the East Coast of Australia. On the day of her flights, baggage handlers later arrested for drug trafficking were rostered on duty AND touched baggage of her flight. Coincidence? From shuttlebutt I heard Schapelle was unlucky.

Fritzl is AUSTRIAN. He imprisoned his own daughter and sired children with her. One child died and he is imprisoned after pleading guilty at his trial. ffs, stop being idiotic with your posts

Well it really moved me and I plan on doing something about it. I will spend a day writing letters and pass on the info. Here is the link to the families website and a how to help page with info on things everyone can do to help.
If admitting guilt could get you out of 20 years I'd strongly suggest it. I mean if she has no more appeals, no chance to walk otherwise. This reminds me of the guy put away for a rape he didn't do. he could have gotten parole but he wouldn't admit guilt so he died in prison...

The previous Australian Government stood by and did nothing when the Indonesian Courts sentenced a young Australian woman to 20 years for importation of 4.2kg of marijuana. Despite pleading by the defendant to have the drugs DNA tested, her baggage weighed and the bags fingerprinted, the trial went ahead without testing of this crucial evidence. This evidence would have set her free.
She was not given her rights to a fair trial under the laws of Indonesia or by international conventions.
This petition to the Prime Minister of Australia is designed in the hope that diplomatic intervention will help in securing Schapelle Corby's release and return her home to Australia, a free woman.
Schapelle Corby's judicial review has failed. Now this once vibrant young woman is facing a 20 year jail sentence that will prevent her ever from having children and seeing them play happily in their own home. We need people power to help set her free.
