movie ticket here for weekends and holiday's are $9.25 and a large popcorn and drink combo cost $10 and some change it's a ripoff if I drove a hour and a half out detroit metro area I can go to the show for $4.50 and get a large popcorn and chips for $4.00

Here in CT, its $11 for a regular movie time. The mourning & matinee is $6. So when I have a day off you have to time the movies right, 10:30 for Terminator Salvation and on the way out, just duck into Pelham 123 at 12:30. The foolish kids that work there could care less whats goin on. I create my own 2 for 1 special. I went to the movies a few weeks ago with my girlfreind on Friday night, that cost about $35 with snacks, what a joke.
