I dont see the issue. Most every major seller does this anyways and if someone has a problem, I would rather have a return request than a case. If someone wants to return an item, they have 6 months at the card processor anyways.

I know it's a tax write-off but I'm still not looking forward to being forced to pay for a return when the customer decides they want a different color after receiving the item.
I don't think I've ever had a major retailer pay for a buyer-faulted return.

I don't mind paying for returns, if my product is defective. But some random dumba55 buyer who just changed their mind one day... HELLLLLL NO!

I dont think I have ever not paid for returns. ALL returns are stated as defective when the buyer opens the return. In my experience anyways.

Screw you eBay. You can try all you want but you're never going to be Amazon.

I get just as many buyer-faulted as seller-faulted. Just this morning someone requested a return because they had to return the item they were going to use my item with.

| Sucks, doesn't it. I'm sure they'll do away with that, too, eventually. Remember how it was 20% when TRS first started!

I was really butthurt at the time to see it reduced. The TRS discount used to give me a major edge. Now I don't pay attention to it or factor it into item prices.

I guess it does depend on your nitch. I dont sell items people might not like a color or fit etc...Pretty much if I get a return, it is a competitor of some sort. Oftentimes a retail store. They destroy the item almost always. Sometimes stores will buy hundreds and then after the selling season return what they did not sell...of course at my expense.

That's just ridiculous. I usually refrain from being vindictive, but if that company is causing you financial loss, I'd find a way to pay them back. Especially since you probably know exactly who and where they are.

I stopped my involvement with the discount program. Yeah, my bills are $100 or so higher each month but I don’t have to worry about stuff like that. This would have for sure made me throw in the towel if I hadn’t already.
