Does the man make the money, or money make the man?

what does this statement mean to you?

in my opinion,

men that make money = someone who has extraordinary skills that no matter where he starts at it does not matter he will make tons and tons of money.

money that makes the man = can give him a lot of money at the end he will waste it all away because he is not smart.......

I think it's pretty clear that if anything, money tends to 'unmake' the man.

Money exposes the truth at the core of a man, for better or for worse.

And it's usually for the worse.

If a man is corrupt, money allows him to show the corruption without fear of reprisal or consequence.
