Extreme Makeover - Home Edition
 

Good morning,

Last summer, during the economic downturn, I was given an opportunity to work part-time with a start-up renewable energy company. In conjunction with this, I have some exciting news:

I am happy to announce that our company will be part of Extreme Makeover Home Edition's North Texas episode. The featured family received their surprise on Thursday. We are donating and installing a wind turbine and other solar products to the new house being built. Our team attended the opening rally last Wednesday morning with all the show's producers and project staff.

Wow....thanks for posting those pictures. Maybe you should sell windmills on ebay. Lol. Naaa... some one will say that they received a piece of rock weighing 200 pounds instead of a windmill.

Thank you guys. I have some great pics of Ty Pennington pushing Lt. Marshall in his wheel chair up to the front of the house. It was a very touching moment. This has been a very humbling and rewarding experience that my family and my team will always remember.

Every night when we watch the news, my 3 year old daughter says - "the cop got hurt, so we are building him a home. I could not have said it better.

How come the pictures are such low resolution.

When will the programme be aired, we wont get it in the episode in Uk for a while, but I think I saw a clip of this weeks show with a black family on the soup on E, today..

Did you know the show was international!

They have not announced the air date yet. I will keep you posted. This whole process was amazing. They actually build and film two homes at the same time is different location. Each house has its own design and production crew. Ty Pennington flies back and forth between both locations to film his parts.

I overheard the producers talking about trying to make this a two-hour episode for a couple of reasons. One is the feel good story of helping a hero. The second reason to promote a new theme of "green living."
