Didn't read the article yet, but they've been selling Top Up cards in Walmart for years right?

So now it's going to be like loading a gift card? Cool. Bet it won't work for us.

very interesting... also interesting this was posted 16hrs ago and not much commentary on it... usually this would be a hot topic. highly likely this wont work stealthily... im sure will be a pain in the arse to even mess with. but we ll see! :typing:

nothing special..........

I would be more surprised if paypal decides to open 1000s of call centers in USA so we can hire some american workers.....and the wait time will never be an hour wait anymore......

weirdly enough with eby n PP i prefer foreigners OVER americans... americans are always asshole and never give any leniency... from what ive experienced.

Problem is those employees would want $15/hr for a $5/hr job, while the Indian workers are willing to answer phones for $.15/hr. :juggle:

you can thank trump and the republican party.........make america great again.....peter thiel is making good on his vote towards trump and brought back a lot of jobs to america......for paypal....

i noticed that american workers were on the phone in paypal right around the time that trump got into office......

when obama was in office......most if not the entire time i always got a filipino person on the line.....

I bet the american workers are taking initiative also......probably coming up with new ways to increase security in paypal.....whereas in the phillipines they are not smart enough to come up with new ways just go to work and go home.....

i am drawing on experience,

I find it quite odd how all of a sudden, when obama went out of office....and trump got into office.....which peter thiel publicly supports trump......

whenever I call paypal now...... i hear american workers on the line..........

the timing is very suspicious........and i think its pretty accurate to assume trump persuaded thiel to make a couple phone calls to bring jobs back

back then when obama was in office a few years back......all I ever got was a foreigner on the other end of the phone line........which most of the time was a good thing.....

it doesnt take a very educated individual to sit in front of a computer with a headset on to answer phone calls in a call center.........phillipines is a corrupt country poverty is rampant and many are not highly educated......

the phone thing you were talken about in the other thread??? i dont understand why your mad. its been like that forever... you could never just change the phone number randomly to receive text verification right away...

with this security update......lets say I try to send money and a quick security check pops up........I won't be able to add a phone number right there on the spot......

now when I add a phone number on the profile.......god knows if it will ever update on the quick security check..........it probably never will even with cnam data.........

so the quick security check will cause problems sending money out, and transferring money....basically all the related paypal basic functions that trigger this quick security check......

the quick security check gets popped for so many reasons imaginable............

complete nightmare now........

I am just hoping someone can wake me up from this horrible nightmare.......

or lets hope paypal will come to their senses and fix this problem......and return things back to the way they were....
