When will world end?

I think the world will not end in a sense that there will be no people left, but rather the human population will decrease in size massively. There is already a lot of gossip about plans for population reduction.

I guess that once the US is confident enough that a nuclear war is winnable, hell will come to earth resulting in the death of two thirds of humans walking this planet. Wars don't usually happen by chance, they are most of the time pretty well planned far before they even begin.

Anyway, don't sweat it too much because what you feel/think about such future events is totally irrelevant as you and I have no say in that whatsoever.

War's not really in the best interest of any of the bigger nations. None of them are going to start breaking UN laws left and right to try and start one. RU is using Syria as an excuse to pull out of the INF and build up their arsenal. For all we know Trump called up Putin and said hey, you wanna build some more missiles?!

Current wars (civil disputes) and course-correcting outside attacks are in third-world countries with archaic religious extremist and poor infrastructure. The people just happen to have guns instead of spears.

We stop fighting when resources are readily available - trading causes global GDP to go up, and up, and up. We're just prone to operate in the scarcity mindset instead of the abundance mindset.

Oil scarcity holds potential for war... need it for transporting food/industrial goods, running machinery, heat... hopefully civilization has matured enough where we can efficiently and peacefully transition to green energy sources thanks to ease of access to global resources before running dangerously low. Charging and traveling in electric cars looks absolutely horrific right now, though, lol.

Cymatics: sound waves creating patterns in nature. Increasing and decreasing frequency of waves creates different patterns, some seemingly replicated in nature.

Coincidence that we see what we want to see, or possible influence on minerals in their formation of life. I'd like to consider the latter of the two in my drunken stupor.

Current theories propose life formed under intense pressure in confined spaces where minerals were able to rapidly bump into one another to form amino acids - building blocks of life - deep in ocean fissures during the early formation of Earth. Influential forces i.e. sound waves could then passively change minerals as the developed into what we consider living forms.

Begs to question whether life forms are a predestined phenomenon of universal and environmental influences, barren of meaning or cause.

Or if 'something' or 'someone' is responsible for predetermining those universal influences so that they create a life form afterwards.

Hydrogen, most abundant element formed during the big bang. It is what all elements are made of on our periodic table; the Sun burning it at 70%, and why anything here exists at all....

Something as simple a glass of water, or a home brewed beer for that matter, or juice, or tea or soda, once known is really not the same. It's not really the accepting of what is is, it's water; hydrogen and water molecules, but you dont think of it like that; a wet substance you can drink, or shower or swim in.


It's the incredibly and ever so insatiably unanswered asking of WHY it is....



Why does hydrogen exist. Why oxygen do what it does. When added together, you get water, but what determined that when added together it makes water.

Perhaps we are just along for the ride on an infinite path of existence and non-existence. According to big bang theory, we could have existed once before, but you'd never know it really happened. And that defeats the purpose.

Back when I was growing up in the 70's & 80's, I envisioned that in 2020 we would be walking on Mars and flying personal spaceships like in the Jetson's.... NOT!

On our present timescale, it still takes a LONG time to accomplish big things. I feel we are much further away from the "Jetson's" as we might think. In fact, the future is unlikely to resemble anything like that.

What should be on peoples minds is we will soon be entering the quantum era. This is a big deal, and is likely to shake up society as we know it. As someone who is deeply involved with technology, I am talking about quantum computers. Yes, folks they are REAL and this isn't science fiction. They are truly scary.

Imagine a world where there are few, if any secrets. No more lying to your insurance company, bank, or even the nice tax authorities in the government! Yes, the all-knowing "HAL" like in 2001 a Space Odyssey.

No more cryptography or encryption as we know it. These computers are so powerful, they can break just about anything man can invent.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see why this is a huge concern. The US Govt is already aware of this at the highest levels. Some types of devices in the 50 to 100 year span from now will be just as dangerous as a nuclear bomb is today. Quite a weapon. The US Government lab computers already possess the capability to do things with computers no commercial or consumer machine can. These machines are located at the National Labs such as Sandia & Lawrence Livermore in California. Some of the stuff they are working on is deep secret for obvious reasons.

If our adversaries were to possess some of this tech, we would be in BIG trouble.

Hyperthreading is like traffic jammed at the entrance of a tunnel and can only compute the current task. On the quantum level particles can be here, there or anywhere at one time so engineers use that phenomenon to solve/crack/hack equations.

In classical computing there is a hard limit of two bits; 0 or 1 (off or on). In the quantum world, this is can be increased "qbits as they are called" can be nearly an astronomical level.

A crude way of explaining this is a light switch only has two positions (up & down). A quantum "switch" can be in any position; up, down, left, right, center, vertical, horizontal, straight up... You get the idea.

Now, imagine this logic applied to various aspects of the physical world we now live in? The Q Computing aside, there will be a disruption as life as we know it. Not all of it will be good. Those that harness this power will be in real control of things. Imagine a quantum computer can can mine cryptocurrency? Supposedly there is a company working on this already. It would be like shooting ducks in a barrel- capable of mining 1 BTC per second? Perfectly doable with the right machine that can quickly solve the math. One could be RICH until the world catches on, then the value will drop to near zero.

Earth won't "end" in the physical sense, but if we are not careful how we manage powerful technology we create in 50, 100, or 300 years from now, we will cease to exist, or be plunged back into the dark ages by "something" we create that goes awry. What that "something" is has yet to be created by human, at least at this time.
