I have to do a shout out to the Brits. Here in the US, our cable/satellite services carries BBC America. We love watching the dramas from our friends across the pond. The shows are not a well produced as ones coming from Hollywood (special effects, etc.), yet the acting and writing are simply superb.

This week they are airing Torchwood, "Children of Earth." This is simply an incredible show that is riveting, with characters that the viewers grow to love...

agreed we are definately less polished than the Americans, US do things on a much bigger scale and its more perfect. Perfect teeth! There is something about British humour too that cannot be beaten..

what else do you get, just dramas? I never watch cable in the evening there is too much on bbcheaven

my particular favourites are debates and documentaries...just too many good ones to name

You got great stuff too - loved Will and Grace, adore Judge Judy, Oprah? only for Dr Oz...

Mostly dramas. We get old versions of the comedies on our public television.

Dragon's Den starts tomorrow. I cannot wait!!!!

I absolutely love the BBC channel. Love all the Chef Ramsey shows, Cash in the Attic, Bargain Hunt, Top Gear and a whole lot more. That channel is on our favorites here. Hats off to you!
