The freedom that comes with cash? Not sure that makes much sense...

Cash payments will be a thing of the past soon enough. That's just the way we are heading.

Places I've seen accepting crypto payments value customer privacy ie drug and sex paraphernalia. Dont think it's going much further.

It's been hypothesized that crypto and blockchain technology in general is setting the stage for a cashless society. It won't be BTC though. If/when it does happen the central banking system will create their own coin using blockchain, all cash will be traded in for this new central coin, and it will become illegal to own cash. This will make private transactions and/or money laundering impossible because every person will have a digital wallet tied directly to their government issued identity. If you're ever under suspicion for anything cops/government people will be able to look up your wallet and see every dollar (or whatever currency) you've spent in your life.

So I agree with upwards. Soon you will have no freedom with your own "money". It's a scary concept but I think it's going to take decades for the world to fully transition to that point.

Interesting thought but hard pressed to believe the illegal part. Maybe they operate in tandem, like credit/debit and cash. Citizens wont be sitting idly by if the Gov decides to turn all their personal worth into 1s and 0s - at least that's giving the majority the benefit of the doubt.

Libtards and credit companies prob love the idea.

FDR confiscated Gold via executive order 6102 in 1933. I'm sure there were tons of people who illegally held onto their Gold stashes, but the fact is ownership of Gold became illegal practically overnight and US citizens were forced to cash in their Gold for paper. They didn't have any say in the matter. The USA was in the Great Depression and FDR convinced everyone that making Gold ownership illegal was necessary to fix the economy.

It would probably be a similar process, except this time the government would probably spend millions on social media marketing before hand making their new digital coin look like a godsend. If it were trending on Twitter for a few weeks with celebrity endorsements and sh!t, the USA population of 2060 would probably eat it up and trade in their cash willingly, lol.

It's going to take a while. I think BTC is just to introduce people and corporations to the idea, so they can start getting used to what's coming in the future.

Made a lot of sense to me when I was reading about it but I'll admit the idea could be BS.

Oh god this is some V for Vendetta $hit lol.

Given the brainwash capabilities of propaganda and the media agree it's entirely possible. :surrender:

Now it's missing, or at least investigators cant find the wallet lol.

Surprisingly crapping yourself to death is one of the top causes of death still *cough* Africa. Either a 'good' cover up or he's laughing all the way to the bank.

Once you start getting how the news writes articles geared towards people's beliefs and stereotypes you understand how they make their money. :P

Such a narrow minded approach...
I find freedom comes with crypto actually. No matter what 'cash' you use youre limited in the amount you can hold and how fast you can move it and who and how you can deal with. The US dollar is pretty much the only 'universal cash you can use.
I find true freedom comes with crypto. Never had an issue moving my bitcoin .
Now when it comes to exchanges its a different matter. Coinbase is the paypal of crypto and I would NEVER hold my cryptocoins with them. I have my trusty electrum wallet holding my crypto and I hold on to my own private keys. I wouldn't trust anyone else with that. That's the whole point of crypto - to NOT have to trust any intermediary with your hard earned money.
