Just focus on winning at games in which you have an edge, and this can become another form of income stream for you.

Ive won a few thousand playing roulette over time. You have to have patience win a little amount and leave. Over time it all adds up. I just come in and do the martingale technique when I see 4 or 5 reds or black in a row and bet the opposite.

The only time you will see me at a casino is with friends on a night out and I have strict discipline. Wallet stays locked in the glovebox and I only take in the cash I am prepared to "lose" / "night out cash". And I buy my food and drinks straight away before playing.

No offense, I've been guilty of it too at times. But this thread was clearly just made in the hopes that a bunch of people would be impressed by $25,000 and feed your ego. Then the first person to comment wasn't and you got mad. I don't know whether you are actually looking for a real answer.

My advice would be either go all in (this and any future puns completely intended) and raise the stakes to where you are betting 100x as much and either winning 100x as much or realizing you aren't good enough to be a professional poker player after all. I think that it is a serious career and can make you very rich if you are actually among the best in the world at it.

Also, take an analytical approach- you should be recording and graphing your ROIs by hand or session and as many metrics as possible.

I wasn't making the thread to inflate my ego and I know many people who make ~1M a year from playing poker. I was trying to start a thread and share a journey and my first post was my prelude. I am going to continue to study the game and see how much I can make at it.

Also, for the people on the form who do not believe I am a long-term winner with poker, how about we play online heads up? I can guarantee within about 20-30 hours of play, you will realize I have an edge that you do not (tinsoldier for example).

I will continue to share my progress. I am hoping I can make between 250k and 1M off the game before I walk away from it. My goal is to do it within the next 2-3 years.

Best of luck - it is possible to make that amount with steady gameplay - mix of cash games and tournaments, sure

Yes I do struggle to balance both, it is indeed difficult. Not sure I understand the logic about participating in a chat and making money at the same time. Tin, if you are so certain I’m not a winner, surely you can play me heads up and not lose too much... why not accept my challenge? If your going to make claims that anyone posting on this forum is a losing player, why don’t you stick to your guns and take my challenge? You should be able to beat a losing player, even if your not a great player.

Rsot, I am going to begin to share screenshots of all in ev, net winning, and net winning without showdown in the future. One of my last leaks is better controlling tilt, I still spew on occasion.

My goal with this thread is to share my journey and help inspire others to become winning players to support their lives and businesses. It is possible to win good money playing the game and I don’t see why others claim otherwise without sufficient evidence (tinsoldier). Perhaps he’s bitter because he does not posses the skill set to win at the game.

Also, "you do not have the skill set to make millions." Where if your evidence behind this? I would never make a statement without sufficient evidence, why spread false information to the forrum?

Not a bad idea, offshore gambling sites stand a very low chance of winning a claim against a US customer.

Just finished a session and posting a chart. Ran about $150 below EV, which is one of the reason as stated in my first post, I highly dislike this game. You need to have mental discipline to not tilt when things don't go your way. I ran pretty significantly below EV and it was frustrating. Nonetheless, still had a good sessions.

My red line (winnings without showdown) has improved dramatically and has a decent slope to it. As expected, the blue line (winnings with showdown) should always be positive. Obviously, net winnings (current) for the session are in green and what I should actually have won, is in yellow (all in EV).

Anyways, this is a solid looking chart and it took me about 1 year of playing seriously to develop such a playing style. Hope this is informative for everyone, I think I'll be posting charts with winnings per session in the thousands within six months.

Tin, I just copied and pasted this off the internet right? Surely, I cannot be a winner over 3K hands -- I just got lucky (Tins explanation).

That session is not from 4 days ago, that was today's session (where do you get 4 days ago?)

Tin solider said, "Nobody on this forum is a winning poker player."

Nothing to prove anything, expect for proving Tin wrong with his baseless claim that nobody on this forum is a winning poker player -- and he was so certain on it! Funny this is, I'll be clearing 1-3K days within 6 months.

Next, I'll have to prove that within 2-3 years, my ecommerce company will net me 10M -- Tin will be wrong again. Why is he such a hater!?!?!

Tin you are the one full of bullsh$t. You make false claims, stand by the false claims for months, and then make more baseless claims (sarcastically stating enjoy your millions).

Why don’t you bet me right now:

I’ll bet you 250k, within 5 years, my ecommerce company nets me 10M before taxes. I’ll have my attorney get you paperwork.

Tin won’t do it, he’s full of bullsh$t — if he wasn’t he’d take my bet.

Guarantee he won’t do it.

That’s just database creation date brotha, has nothing to do with the session which is filtered by “today”

Tin also cant seem to wrap his head around that 3k hands is nothing when your multi tabling and playing zoom/zone (quick fold). I’m also slowly building my role online playing 50NL, so yes the winnings are going to be smaller than if I played 200NL live, which 200NL and 500NL are what I play when I walk into casinos.

50NL => $.25/50 blinds
200NL => $1/2 blinds
500NL => $2/5 blinds

Important to note, 50NL online is harder than 500NL live. Around 5% of poker players can make money at the game in the long run. Even fewer can beat online poker.

I’ve not heard from Tin about the legalese. He can lay terms should he fear 250k is an amount I cannot come up with. Tin should just apologize for being wrong and making baseless claims for months — that’s all.
