It depends on age as well.
Elderly has less digestive enzyme in their stomach and their teeth and gum are not as strong,if there is any tooth left?
Also they are not as active, they dont need as much.
Some start their day with an alcoholic drink, thats empty calorie

I am a short individual, 140 lbs, my monthly food bill for me to mentally function properly would be about $1000 minimum but can go as high as $3000 dollars under healthy eating standards. I also have two dogs 1 big and 1 medium sized.

I do not cook. eat at restaurants only. everything fresh never really eat leftovers.

That sounds wasteful and unhealthy. I wouldn't do that if there came a time when I could afford it.

eating in restaurants does not mean you are eating healthy.
The best way to make sure you are eating fresh is to do your own shopping and prepare it and eat it right away.

Yeah some of us try to "enjoy" our life.....

I understand that concept is hard to grasp for all the penny pinchers on this forum that are barely getting by.....

You would be surprised even the high class restaurants, the help and dishwasher and the busboy and the waiters do not wash their hands after using the bathroom.
Who is watching?

Exactly. In fact, the fast food places are probably cleaner no only because there cameras in the food prep/kitchen area, but more supervision and controls you won't find at those "high class" places.

The big chains (McD's/BK/Wandys/Tacobell/etc) take cleanliness far more seriously, but not for the reasons you think. They are just one bad social media scandal away from losing tens of millions of $ in bad press or potential lawsuits.

LOL holy mother of god. Please tell me you put in an extra zero somewhere in there. You must eat filets topped with caviar, multiple times a day. $1000-3000 is stupid money. If you can afford it, more power to you tho.

if you eat out 3 times a day-breakfast,lunch and dinner,it would cost you $100 easily in a nice restaurant.
20-25% goes to tips.
and dont forget tax.
Uber eat ,DoorDash of the world is not going to put restaurants out of business, people prefer to eat in a restaurant not just for the food but the whole experience-the decor, the service and the presentation and the silverware and the company around you which you dont have if you eat the same food delivered at your desk or in the kitchen or in front of TV set in a styrofoam box,or even if you transfer it to your own chinaware.
(I remember how my mother rejoice when someone suggested-lets eat out to night !'
Once she stayed with my brother in San Fran, when she heard I am coming to visit them, she asked me if I were goin to stay in a hotel (which I have no intention to do so),when I said no,she said OH GOOD,WE CAN THEN USE THE MONEY TO EAT OUT !!!!!!!
See how creative mothers can be to come up with money to dine out!

please do not talk about the cleanliness of big fast food chains,

In the past I have gone with eating their food for weeks at a time only to have irregular heartbeats and serious health problems....the ingredients are not remotely healthy. eat it long enough you will have long term health problems.

the price might be cheap to eat at fast food restaurants, but its not going to be cheap when you have to go to the doctor and get heart surgery.

find a family who love to eat and the homemaker is full time cook and use fresh ingredient and ask them to adopt you.
Give them $1000 /month and they will use it to come up with some great dishes.

Again, you're just a weak human specimen. I ate nothing BUT fast food from 1998 to 2008, an entire decade, and felt fine as phuck. With no health problems.

So h4ck, eating fast food is detrimental to your health, but having sex with women who've slept with hundreds of other men that probably have herpa-gonorr-HIV meets up to your health standards?

That's odd, man. Usually the guys you see on Cops who hire prostitutes are some of the most unhealthy looking humans in the world.
