I was in Jordan recently, yes the food is nothing to get excited about. Also they just throw their rubbish directly in the street, I could not even see any bins. Nice people though

7100 new cases reported on the 11th. Another record setting day. My Bitcoin wallet lost over $1k in value in the time I was sleeping, as the stock market continues to plummet. The DOW has lost like 4000 points this week.

On Monday it looked like there would be an inverse relation. Bitcoin was rising as the stock market was falling.

Then Tuesday sh~t hit the fan and I guess institutional investors started selling off. Who knows? Regardless, BTC has been in free-fall since. I couldn't believe when I saw how much I'd lost this morning.

China Is Now Sending Doctors, Masks and Hazmat Suits to Help Italy With Its Coronavirus Outbreak

The Chinese deployment reflects the shifting frontlines of the global COVID-19 epidemic, as new infections plateau in China, they're soaring in Europe.

A plane carrying a team of specialist doctors and medical equipment left China for Italy Wednesday, where the health system is under unprecedented strain from the spiraling coronavirus outbreak. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying tweeted that the team of medical experts were “ready to share their experience.”



Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio announced the incoming deployment Tuesday night following a phone call with Chinese counterpart Wang Yi. He said that China was sending “specialist doctors who faced the first peak of the coronavirus" to help deal with the surge of new patients in Italy, where 10,149 people have tested positive.


"Our doctors don't need anyone to teach them their job, but the Chinese doctors were the first [to deal with the virus] and they can bring their experience," he told RAI television.

(Related to previous point) The Nature Science Journal published an article in 2015 titled "Engineered bat virus stirs debate over risky research", describing a man-made coronavirus that can infect humans which is similar to SARS. In the article they question whether or not the research is ethical.

Umm, just FYI, but kids barely at risk. Less than 1% were age 9 or younger. They aren't getting sick. and when they do, it's barely a cold, if they even have any symptoms at all. Many have no symptoms. If you didn't do this for the yearly flu, that's it's kinda ridiculous you're doing it now, for something less likely to happen, AND less likely do have an effect if it does happen.

I have no more doubts that people on this planet are doomed and destined to be exterminated.

I was on Reddit recently and saw something that shook me, the number of people who truly believe Bill Gates is the savior of this world is staggering. These are real people who live in both the US and Europe and have no idea whatsoever about the people planning their bloody slaughter.


People should be marching in the streets and demand an investigation into COVID-19, but you know why that is not happening? Because the majority of them believe it jumped from a bat in a meat market somewhere in "disgusting" China :noidea:



Maybe the "eugenicists" are right, these people are not worthy of life :faint:

I never claimed kids weren't getting sick. I specifically mentioned they do. But even when they do, the ones that even KNOW they are sick, barely feel it, and a smaller percentage have normal cold symptoms. So again, if I had kids, I'd be far more worried about the normal seasonal flu, which is way more likely to be caught, and way more likely to kill the kid. This is a virus that kills the old and or sick. Home schooling your kids because of THIS, but not because of all the other things far more likely to kill them, is quite silly.

I don't think this is entirely misplaced..... Iran could be fairly keen on noticing biological warfare and related events.

That Nature article's sources led to an announcement made by US in 2014 that they were halting research on making pathogens more transmissible.

I guess where else would you source a pathogen for research than animals in close contact with humans. Can we manufacture them? Is it less expensive to take one from an animal? If it's been incubated in an animal is it stronger? I don't know. That's where it comes from, you can tell everyone that, it's true.

I'm curious if SARS could have been sampled and has been in a lab ever since. Hospitals need money.

Somewhere I read SARS-COV-2 (sister to SARS) and COVID19 are one in the same. If it's been improved it would be more transmissible. That's the point of the research.

MERS has been untouched and steadily infecting people since 2012. Hasn't mutated into anything in 8 years.

SARS vanished in 2003. And it's back with upgrades. This could have been accidentally or intentionally released. Wow, maybe Iran's right about this.

He's run like 500 companies... If a few have filed for chapter 11 corporate restructuring, I'm not even remotely surprised. FYI, chapter 11, is not bankruptcy the way people think of it, but the layman non business person, always hears bankruptcy, and ignores anything else. You usually remain open and functioning, while you restructure debts and obligations, while they reorganize their business affairs and assets.

Considering 20% of business fail in their first year and 50% in their fifth year, he's done damn good.

And another thing people seem to ignore, is that all the casinos were having trouble. He bought the casino while it was in trouble. Atlantic city was not going to exist for very long, and it wasn't Trump that caused it. Other states opened gambling, and instead of having to sit on a bux for hours, they could drive half an hour. Union contracts also killed atlantic city. ALL THE CASINOS WENT TO ****.

Just like most of the other companies that had a bankruptcy. Surprise surprise... They failed. And while everyone around him failed, he ended up making money anyways lol.
