This is saying authorities were manipulating the numbers. They were distributing test kits outside of Wuhan during the peak and gave all the hospitals there 2000 total.

Leaked documents from Mar 14th say there were 91k cases when official number was 4000. IDK if documents are real w/o looking.

Packages that shipped Friday are in Alaska now and will arrive tomorrow. I had a two day delay with UPS.

You must be using DHL through HK. Really bad business practices will keep them on their knees for weeks or possibly months to come.

my domestic shipments have been insanely fast. Florida to Cali, first class mail in 2 days.

Mine too. It's strange, really. I guess it might have something to do with domestic air travel being restricted?

Priority and 1st Class shipments are traveling from West to East coast in 2 days consistently for the last 2 weeks, but on the international side, DHL is saying there aren't enough planes to go around.

Could be related to China lying about their statistics. :noidea:

DHL has 5-10 day delays coming out of HK. Lot of cancelled flights. That was yesterdays update... who knows what it is today lol

I have the Same problem packages waiting since March 19th in hongkong waiting to go on a flight (due airlines cancellations ) Dhl express and they increased the prices almost 40% this is a disaster

I had one shipment picked up last night.

If you're using DHL out of HK you can expect a 10-12 day wait between the time you're given your tracking number and the time it starts showing updates.

UPS raised 2%. Fedex about 11% This is China to USA. Not Hong Kong.

Once lockdowns are lifted worldwide and people start closing financial transactions again, we will see the real inflation.

Except for all the people now getting unemployment, plus an extra $700 a week, PLUS another $1200 a month. People are literally making more money, not working. Banks are pausing mortgage payments for those landlords. Businesses are getting loans, which they don't have to pay back, if it goes towards payroll. People are wasting money on junk anymore. Just about every company is pausing bills. No waste of gas money.

And when this is all over, LESS people are going to die this year, in general, than if this virus never even happened.

For germany I would say Dhl express I’m hearing ups and fedex same delays 10-14days after you received the tracking it’s bad .

I'm actually having them use UPS for the next 3pcs of my order, so we can test them out. Supplier is telling me that UPS is only taking 2 days to pickup shipments.

I'll report back when I know something.

Lotta stuff here saying nature is cause but wouldn't be impossible to drop a virus off at a wet market. It's bad/perfect timing to do so. It's also winter when immune systems are compromised and when most outbreaks occur...

China Purchasing Indexes Drop to Record Lows as Epidemic Stalls Output

The official manufacturing purchasing managers index tumbled to 35.7 in February from 50 in January, indicating a deep contraction. February’s reading from the National Bureau of Statistics on Saturday was the first official data for a full month of economic activity in China since the coronavirus began affecting the economy in late January.

The index dropped to 38.8 in November 2008, when the financial crisis prompted steep losses on Wall Street and sent shockwaves through the global economy. The 50 mark separates expansion from contraction.

Covid19 is as contagious as SARS, but SARS only had 8000 cases. Current world politics and globalization has caused covid19 to explode more than it should have been able to. If this is nature it was terrible timing politically. Family friend who is a nurse of 35yrs is saying this will be around this Fall, and it's possible it can continue to reoccur like MERS until a vaccine is both developed and distributed.

Maybe if China hadn't secretly been buying up medical equipment needed to fight the virus from every country for months, while actively lying to everyone about how bad it was, there would probably be less finger pointing at China.. Eh?
