Would make sense if the virus stopped spreading as much and is actually peaking. These numbers are people who most likely had it for weeks and its now showing the symptoms.

I really do hope its over before summers end like aspkin said, or we could have a real worldwide problem on our hands.

Dropped my ole lady off at the airport this morning. Shes says masks are EVERYWHERE! I don't blame them.(regardless if they are effective, or not!)

On a serious point though I knew it would spread world wide its a case of just waiting it out and ride the wave now there won’t be anything stopping it. it’s a poor show from governments and institutions to curtain the spread.

Hopefully give it a month or two and things should start to get back to normal and the markets normalise.

China closed the 1st out of 16 hospitals in Wuhan that treated COVID-19 patients.

Hopefully it is now under control in China, otherwise they wouldn't have closed that hospital.

The cost of this virus raging on any further will be a disaster for the world economy.

1800 new confirmed cases today. South Korea has the most cases outside of China, with 4335. The US is now reporting 100 confirmed cases.

The good thing about the graph in the last few days is that it's pretty linear.(a little more each day). Versus exponential growth!(1k 2k 4k 8k 16k and so on...)

They've never been very accurate but they're all we have to go by, lol.

I think there is way more than 100 cases in the US, for starters. Then there's NK which hasn't reported anything, Japan which had their numbers mysteriously stall, China which has likely been lying all along.. etc.

Keeping the economy going is most important.

Labs in the US will begin testing very soon so numbers will start jumping in the next 2 weeks.

New cases in China have plateaued, hopefully that is the case and not just China trying to calm the world down.

2400 new cases were reported on the 3rd. Italy seems to have had the worst day yesterday. Italy is now up to 2502 cases, South Korea is up to 5621, and Iran ranks 3rd with 2336. USA is now up to 127 with most cases located on the West Coast and the East Coast rapidly catching up.

It mutates very rapidly and there have been instances where different members of the same family, who were all living in the same house, were infected with different distinguishable mutations of Covid-19. Scary stuff, really.
