Can you ask UPS to deliver over multiple days?

This is the 1st time I import 40 boxes at once from China, the shipment has not yet left China, UPS will take over the delivery as soon as my shipment enters Germany.

My question is, is it possible for UPS to not deliver all the 40 boxes at once? I want to get 20 boxes the 1st day and another 20 the next.

Have you ever done that?
